Its been a while!
Sorry we havent updated the blog for such a long time! We have been extremely busy keeping up with the boys. They are 6 months old today! Since our last post Mommy has gone back to work and Grandma Susan now takes care of us during the day. Quinn had reflux and colic and was on Prilosec along with special formula. Sammy has gotten really big and is now around 20 pounds. In August we visited the Iowa State campus for the boys' first glimpse at ISU. We took pictures at the campanile and got them their first Cy.
The boys have started to roll over and we are working on getting their muscles stronger so they can sit up. Both are now eating stage 1 foods and love it! Quinn is back onto regular sensitive formula and seems to be doing ok without the prilosec. Sammy is very vocal and loves to coo and laugh. They especially love to watch Elmo each morning on Sesame Street. This past week they also had their first Halloween. Quinn was a pirate and Sammy was Frankenstein's monster.
Missy and Kenny brought Kyle up to Iowa to see his cousins at the beginning of October. We had fun visiting with them and were able to take a family picture.
We are so blessed to have the boys in our lives. We cherish each day with them. They are certainly a handful but bring so much joy! We will try to update the blog more often (maybe once a month). Since the holidays are approaching there will be many more busy times ahead!!
